While I agree in principle that CEO and executive salaries are far too
high in the US and in Canada, I do question when a fleabagger posts
stats without a citation to back it up. Probably from some
anti-business fleabagger site.

I am surprised the Peoples Republic of Venezuela is so high. I would

I am not harryk's statistician. But usually when you post something you
should post its sources as the source often tells you the credibility of
the information. Unlike lefties that believe anything dripping wet
liberal I often question the "facts" presented as to their correctness

Did a quick google search, seems like the latest tripe from the lefty
fleabaggers without a shred of supporting evidence. Closest I came was
comparing some fortune 10 companies as if all of America operated that way.

Just more fleabagger bull****.

But agree, one could find a company where this happens easy enough.
Just compare Walmart CEO with part timers. But most business in the
economy isn't Coka-Cola or Walmart. Most countries don't have that many
mega conglomerates as the US does.

I even don't argue no CEO is worth $20M a year. But the reality is that
is between the board members and shareholders. As long as they have
control and think they are worth it... it really isn't the business of
envy greed driven fleabaggers concern.

I am not harryk's statistician. But usually when you post something you
should post its sources as the source often tells you the credibility of
the information. Unlike lefties that believe anything dripping wet
liberal I often question the "facts" presented as to their correctness

Especially from the likes of harryk given his propensity to bull****.

These multiples have been published a zillion times. You're an

Steve Jobs was uneducated too, Harry.

More accurately, he didn't pollute his mind with Yale and Harvard
bull****. Steve Jobs was notorious for taking smaller, industry
related, focused courses that old boys club golden handshake crap.
Educated yes, butt kiss degrees in frat clubs not, puppet sheeples not.
A degree does not make you intelligent, nor does intelligence require
a degree.

And I have one, but it always amazes me how many get the things and
can't reason for themselves. BA, MBA and lawyer types are the worse.
At least most engineers can reason.

Theoretically no, but factually probably more than you think... There is
at least 40% of the American public that will run with any fact Jon

throw out there even if in their mind they know it's bull****. Remember,

Neither, BirdBrain. The numbers, especially the one pertaining to the
USA, has been discussed in the media for at least a generation. It's
gone up and down a little, but the ratio is pretty much the same. It
isn't my fault if you are ignorant of the reality that the super rich
get that way mostly by ****ing the middle class.

Here's a bit of the info you seek:

http://www.usatoday.com/money/compan...010/45634384/1

And mo

http://www.bnet.com/blog/business-re...2-million/1649

According to the second article, average CEO pay is $12 million a year.
I believe the average worker's annual pay is about $35,000 a year.

$12,000,000 / $35,000 = 342. Now the ratio may be higher or lower,
depending upon whose figures you use, but the fact remains that USA
CEO's are grossly overpaid compared to worker bees, and it is especially
egregious when you factor in what many CEO's are doing these days to
American workers: shipping their jobs offshore and drastically downsizing.

It is not my fault or problem if you righties have your heads stuck so
far up your asses you can see your tonsils.

That's unbelievable... and I thought Canada was bad!

While I agree in principle that CEO and executive salaries are far
too
high in the US and in Canada, I do question when a fleabagger posts
stats without a citation to back it up. Probably from some
anti-business
fleabagger site.

Specially this particular fleabagger...

But the question is, is this data true, or do you have some other data
that says otherwise? It makes absolutely NO difference to me where it
came from, if it's real.

The question is did Harry pull the data out of his ass? Or, did he pull
it from a leftist union rag?

Neither, BirdBrain. The numbers, especially the one pertaining to the
USA, has been discussed in the media for at least a generation. It's
gone up and down a little, but the ratio is pretty much the same. It
isn't my fault if you are ignorant of the reality that the super rich
get that way mostly by ****ing the middle class.

Here's a bit of the info you seek:

According to the second article, average CEO pay is $12 million a year.
I believe the average worker's annual pay is about $35,000 a year.

$12,000,000 / $35,000 = 342. Now the ratio may be higher or lower,
depending upon whose figures you use, but the fact remains that USA
CEO's are grossly overpaid compared to worker bees, and it is
especially egregious when you factor in what many CEO's are doing
these days to American workers: shipping their jobs offshore and
drastically downsizing.

It is not my fault or problem if you righties have your heads stuck so
far up your asses you can see your tonsils.

Yet the CEO's percentage of the company's payroll is insignificant.
Statisticians can make anything look good - or bad, silly!

Not really. A $20 total comp for a CEO could keep 200 product producing
engineers on staff that can grow a company to avoid layoffs.

So unless you think a CEO is 200 times more productive, we have an
obvious discrepancy. I know of no CEO that productive.

And I haven't even gotten to expenses the CEO incurs with staff,
opulence, and perks. Many have to have secretaries because they can't
read their own emails.

True, but may former career took me into the glass houses in executive
