Zakaria made an interesting observation Sunday. Perry was the only one
who signed on to a report from CSIS about infrastructure improvements,
including Obama.
Of course Perry is also not shy about spending government money to
create jobs

The problem with the democrats on this plan is they want concessions
from unions and streamlined permitting processes.
Zakaria points out that 64% of the projects that wound otherwise be
shovel ready, are hung up in environmental permit troubles.

The unions are blocking anyone who has not done time in grade in the
particular union that runs a job (Read:paid union dues for the
required number of years.) from working and that is about 90% of the
unemployed.

If we are lucky, maybe we'll be invaded by the USA and, in order to
win hearts and minds, they will build roads, bridges, and buildings!

Good point. Maybe we should make an appointment with the US Army.

Unions don't run construction jobs. General contractors do. The general
selects the subs.

Wow, for once you made a statement that is correct and not a lie....
good job, coward.
