Racism in America

The Oscar-winning actor sat down with the British TV host and, amongst other things, discussed his belief that the right wing Tea Party's anti-Obama stance is rooted in racism. When asked by Morgan whether Obama's presidency has made racism in the United States better or worse, Freeman, who once played apartheid-defying South African president Nelson Mandela, frankly stated that his time in office has made it worse, as he has become a target of the right's aggression. "Their stated policy, publicly stated, is to do whatever it takes to see to it that Obama only serves one term," the actor said. "What's, what does that, what underlines that? 'Screw the country. We're going to whatever we do to get this black man, we can, we're going to do whatever we can to get this black man outta here.'" Declaring once again that "it's a racist thing," Freeman said the group's rise has shown the hate still lingering in America. "Well, it just shows the weak, dark, underside of America," he said. "We're supposed to be better than that. We really are. That's, that's why all those people were in tears when Obama was elected president. "Ah, look at what we are. Look at how, this is America." You know? And then it just sort of started turning because these people surfaced like stirring up muddy water." The actor continued, saying that he understood President Obama not fighting back, seeking to stick to his principles, but wishes that he'd be more aggressive now. Freeman endorsed Obama during his run for the presidency, but declined to campaign with him, saying that he was an actor, not a politician. He attended a White House Civil Rights concert in 2010. It's a fact. Anyone who disagrees with the way Obama is running things is a racist. Amen. That is racist. Hm, a black president can do no wrong. Funny, I wonder if a white president could rack up $5 trillion in debt, bailout buddies, destroy foreign relations, unemploy so many, foster the bank corruption and show no results for the cost....and say...but I am white and right... Hm, sounds more like we have democrats using race as a crutch and fostering unfounded racism for political greed. Work up that entitlement greed, rally up the envy, persecute the rich, **** the companies providing jobs and wonder why jobs are leaving.... Hm, sounds more like Adolph Hitler and the pre-WW II German socialist party. So is Obama gearing up the USA for a WW III? -- First rule of holes: If you're in one, don't keep digging. So in the hole, why do we insanely want more debt? |

Bunch of damned racist Republicans paying $30 a piece to vote for a black man. What is the world coming to? Hey, maybe Sarah the Ditz Palin will get back in the race, eh? Romney is not a republican. Romney is a RINO, he is another McCain. Perry is another RINO and he has just proved it and he is rightly suffering in the polls for his admitted left/liberal policies. Are you saying you have to be a bat**** crazy right-winger to be a GOP candidate these days? Gosh, I sure hope so. You have to be bat**** crazy to be supporting Obama. That applies to all democrats that refuse to waver from party politics for the good of the country. And to slight the black community by fostering a race conflict. Doesn't mater what color you are, Obama has helped no one but himself and his bailout buddies. -- First rule of holes: If you're in one, don't keep digging. The GOP has a strong field; any of which will beat O/bama by a wide margin. Now that the world has had a taste of O/bama, many countries will offer their support to the GOP. Now I am willing to bet.. I bet the word racist wouldn't disappear at all. They would write Cain off as a Token vote and dismiss him summarily... Then in complete defiance of the facts, they would continue to call us racists, remember, it's the only lie that is still working for them;) |

You have those who already have it and could care less about the rest of the country because they can bundle a couple million in campaign donations, and get back 500 million or our money in return. Then there are those who already have it because the Govt took it from someone else to give to them. Either way, the only folks still supporting President Obama, are the ones he is paying off one way or another with our children's future. |
