Cleaning kayaks?

Just hauled the two Pungoes out from under the rear deck where they've been
resting all winter and tried to clean them. There are dark waterline stains on
the bright kayaks which won't scrub off. I used orange oil cleaner and a
plastic bristle scrub brush. Any better ideas?

You might try a product called Spray Power by CROWN. We find it at Wal-Mart
and it's cheap. It is an incredible liquid cleaner. It takes the black
streaks right off a camper without rubbing! Anyone that owns a camper knows
what I'm talking about here. DO NOT wet the item first. Just spray the
cleaner directly on the item and wipe it off with a cotton cloth. As the
cloth become wet with the cleaner, simply rinse it out good with water and
continue cleaning. I just did our 32' fifth-wheel for the second time this
way after the winter sit and it looks like brand new once again. Now to
finish the waxing process. That's A LOT of metal! :-)
