Mattawoman Creek
 

Hi

We'd like to paddle in Mattawoman Creek off the Potomac. We're not
sure where to put our kayak in. Can anyone offer a suggestion.

Mattawoman Creek
 

Two public launch sites:

"Slavin's Dock" at Mattingly Park at the end of Mattingly Avenue off of
Route 210 in Indian Head, MD. This ramp is on the northern bank of the
Mattawoman Creek.

Sweden Park Marina at Smallwood State Park, which is off of Route 224.

Both ramps had a $5.00 launch fee the last time I checked.
