As some of you know, I have recently re-engined my boat with Suzuki
DF-140 engines. I promised a rundown on how these engines compared to
the old Yamahas and it will be forthcoming. I still lack some data
that I would like to include, but I'll say at this point, that I am
very pleased with the performance, economy, and quietness of the
engines.... how I'll feel five years from now?.... well, we'll
see.....

The change has not been without adventure... from prop pitch to
rigging issues, to gauge changes to re-installation of accessories.

To give you a vignette of how simple things can get really, really
strange, check out this unfolding surrealistic drama....
