Obama is a good family man, intelligent, and even tempered.
Those are good character traits to most, and were well-known.
Where he's lacking so far is the ability to say the truth about the

At one point, he seemed like an honorable guy, who sacrificed heavily
during a war. Then, being bitter, old, and desperate to win the
presidency, he picked a no-nothing from the sticks, who turned out to
be a self-aggrandizing, money grubber, who appeals to those with
similar moral views.
