supposed to come up through the gulf. with 70+ mph. winds, this isn't
going to be good for some of the gulf states, but maybe it'll scatter
some much needed rain up in my area....

Hope all goes well.

Actually I just looked at the latest plots and there is one model that
does take Katia south of Cuba but that is one in a dozen. The rest
have it hooking up the east coast and they are all closer to the US
than they were yesterday. One has it basically following Irene's path
and another one smashing into NY without hitting North Carolina.

Most still take it out to sea and that is what I expect.

Let's hope. :-)

I'm not ready for another one just yet.

You are talking about TD13 that is in the gulf, aimed at NOLA as we
speak. Katia is in the Atlantic and aimed at the East Coast but they
expect it to curve off to the north and be mostly a fish storm.

You're right Greg. i can't keep my storms straight. When looking at
the first table, there's a small red square a red circle, and a red
circle with wings....

Eh, I hope people are safe and we get some rain!

The last one was great for the grass here, but it didn't help our monuments much.
