Lake Anna Nuke Plants

From news reports:

The earthquake knocked out offsite power, and plant operators
manually shut down both reactors.
The plant reported an "alert" status to the NRC, which indicates
that there is something prohibiting the plant from operating normally
but does not jeopardize the safety of the facility. All other reactors
that felt the quake declared "unusual events," the lowest level of
emergency situation, and continue to operate normally.
The backup diesel generators came online to power the pumps,
allowing the plant to be safely cooled.
There is enough fuel for the diesel generators to function for
three days, and there is no infrastructure damage to prevent more fuel
from being delivered.
One of the four diesel generators failed; the other three are
working normally.
Offsite power is expected to be restored within a few hours, and
the plant will resume operation shortly after that.

In other words, the plant behaved exactly as it was designed to do, in
response to an event that was within its design limits.

Update...the plant is back on offsite power, so the generators have been
shut down. Might be another day or so before the reactors are powered up.

Exactly. There is NOTHING wrong with the plant and it's operations.
