This is a real problem. Last times we went up there was no access for
miles and miles, where for decades we had fished and launched boats.
Big City money from Chicago, Toledo, NY and elsewhere has little problem
finding ways to lock up access. Even little lakes all over Michigan.
Lawyers find ways to lock up or take public access for themselves.

Yup, "saving it for future generations" basically means fencing it off
so only you can use it...
