see that word, califbill? 'change'. it's in the dictionary. yep!! it

so go ahead. learn that word, OK? because the GOP USED to be for civil

not any more. nope. after johnson...remember him?? johnson...a
DEMOCRAT...signed the civil rights act of 1964, the GOP changed to a
race baiting, black hating, segregationist party.

so, califbill, learn that word. 'change''....it's easy to learn!
really it is. perhaps if you have someone read it to you, sound it out
for you and you look it up on the net you can start to learn some
history

and then you wouldnt be a moron right winger,

OK?

Now let me see if I understand this correctly, I'll try to be as
succinct as possible to avoid confusion.

Long ago, Democrats favored slavery and indentured servitude of black
persons, and fought a war to keep slavery. The GOP wanted civil rights
and equality for all, regardless of race or skin color.

Even after slavery was abolished, from some within this democratic "race
baiting, black hating, segregationist party" was founded the KKK in an
effort to keep black people intimidated and subservient.

One day or year, these democrats had an epiphany, which culminated in
President Johnson signing the civil rights act into law.

Whereupon there came a great "change". The GOP switched roles with the
democrats. The GOP became the "race baiting, black hating,
segregationist party" that the democrats had been, while the democrats
became civil rights champions, like the GOP had been.

Hmmmm.

Like I said.. I lived and worked with these cowardly idiots. They are
fleabaggers, looking for scapegoats and playing class warfare. Yup,
Democrats are easy to pick out in a crowd in the south, they are the
onew with the pointy hats...

Since, as part of the southern strategy, the GOP recruited racist
Democrats to join up with them after the passage of the 1964 Civil
Rights Act, it is likely that any klan members encountered from 1970 on
probably voted Republican.

As wiki notes:

"In American politics, the Southern strategy refers to the late-20th
century Republican Party strategy of winning elections in Southern
states by exploiting anti-African American racism among Southern white
voters and appealing to states' rights. Though the "Solid South" had
been a longtime Democratic Party stronghold due to the Democratic
Party's defense of slavery prior to the American Civil War and
segregation for a century thereafter, many white Southern Democrats left
the party following the African-American Civil Rights Movement, the
passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Voting Rights Act of 1965,
and desegregation.

The strategy was first adopted under future Republican President Richard
Nixon in the late 1960s and continued through the latter decades of the
20th century under presidents Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush.[1]
The strategy was successful in achieving its goals; it led to the
electoral realignment of Southern states to the Republican Party, but at
the expense of losing more than 90 percent of black voters to the
Democratic Party. "

There you go, you ignorant ass. You should stick to foul play in tents.

missing the point arent you?

1. bush cut taxes on the rich

2. he said this would create jobs

so, how we doing? all that money flowing to the rich...uh...we at full
employment like the right said we'd be?

Obama had the opportunity to let the Bush tax cuts expire. He chose not
to do so. Therefore, they are now the Obama tax cuts.

How's the Obama job creation from the Obama tax cuts on the rich going?

If a man campaigns as Hope and Change, and almost three years later
there's disappointment and little if nothing has changed for the better,
when does that man take responsibility for failing?

Bob, even Maxine Waters who loves the man and has worked to see him
succeed is honest enough to vocalize her disappointment with him. But
you don't have the courage to do the same.

You just shrilly cry "racist" at everyone who's critical, and observes
that he's not delivered as he promised. You make Maxine Waters, and all
the members of the black caucus, racists also.
