To a point, how about you fleabeggars define exactly how much is a fair rate to the government? Precisely how much of a persons income should be shielded from all forms of taxation? You make a $1, you pay 30% in taxes, then you buy gas...$1 - 30 - 30 = 40 cents. 60% aggregate taxes without going into tax compounding.
