It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that "the buck stops here." Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better. Barack Hussein Obama on the Debt Limit, 16 March 2006 Yup. And he's the first to offer money to countries that don't need it. Yep. And debt and corruption are two good reasons to completly shut down foreign aid. If these dysfunctional countries didn't get aid, they would be forced to fix their own problems. Sure, it might get bloody, but that is human nature. But not a US or Canadian problem. Somalia for example, let them die, fewer will starve tomorrow. With reduced population there will be fewer people breeding thugs, dopers, rapists, murderers, thieves, criminals... Hey, the starving bitch with Mohamed in her arms might be the punk that shoots an American in the back. So why feed the problem? Pakistan might not have nukes if US/Canada want feeding the population while the government directed resources to nukes. Don't get me started on Iraq and Afghani corruption. Foreign aid needs to be eliminated. If they want a better life, they can fix their culture and evolve or perish. -- Seems like paying your bills with real money is no longer the accepted behavior in USA. Perhaps that is the problem and not the the solution. |

Your point? Obama is Bush in a different color? Or Obama is as least as corrupt as Bush? Oh wait, it didn't take Obama 2 years to debt-spend more than Bush in 8. So what is your point? As for dead soldiers, looks like on CNN your into the 6000+ range, 6151 if memory serves right. And that does not include UK, Canada and others which might put it as high as 10,000. Just another Obama failed promise, as they are still there. Maybe Obama should kick the soap box and shake his ass. -- Seems like paying your bills with real money is no longer the accepted behavior in USA.
