Until we have come to a unified decision that fits all of our needs and interests we will have to shut down our checkbook and will no longer be able to pay our taxes. I'm sure you'll understand . Thank you very much for setting an example we can follow. This supposes "government" is a monolithic being capable of understanding the above. I'm sure it goes both ways but the Republicans are especially gifted at timing their tin-ear hostage games in the most inopportune situations. Teaparty idiots don't understand the basic operations of our government and think shutting it down is going to help us wrestle with our demons. Simple folk, the same ones that believe in "prayin' away the gay." No, Tea Party is intelligent enough to realize perpetual debt is economic slavery. And don't care what the corrupt farts say, time to pay up with real money and stop the fraud. Takes guts. Ask yourself why it is mostly the "new" members? Not yet corrupted? Others don't have them in the pocket yet lie McCain? No the golden handshake crowd? Fact is I have never seen such honesty and integrity in DC in my life as this. Democrats have no plan other than a unlimited credit card without restrictions and no payback required. Tell you what, have them democrats send ME a credit card lie that and I will agree and suport them. But fact is the whiny corrupt mostly democrats are greedy, corrupt, on the take and don't give a **** about America. Lincoln had it right, Obama destroying America with debt from the inside. We can now put a name to Lincoln's statement. -- Obama, enslaving Americans with debt-tax slavery for a spending binge. Doesn't even borrow real money, Bernanke just creates it like a counterfeiter. . |

Blank check, blank check, blank check, blank check, blank check. This was the Republicans phrase for the day. Guess who picked it up? --------------------------------------------------- The mainstream GOP is screwing this country (along with the TeaBaggers). The Dems' are also screwing this country over by ignoring or missing the *real* problems. Disgusted with both. The only way out of this immediate mess is for Obama to exercise presidential leadership and invoke the 14th amendment, legal challenge or not. Bill Clinton recently stated he would do it in a heartbeat. I sincerely hope that Obama will soon stop acting like a community organizer and start acting like a POTUS. It's his watch, not Reagan's or Bush's. Eisboch Agreed. All Obama is worried about is his sorry ass in 2012. Pretty obvious, as he seems inflexible about wanting a big enough blank check to make it through his term(s) and let it be the next presidents problem. Hey, maybe Obama should give out credit cards with no limits and repayment is never required? Trouble is Obama is so stupid he can't figure it out. After Obama completes his second term, the next US president will also be a Democrat. The demographics in this country are changing dramatically, and the Repugs have insulted too many of the up-and-comers. The changes are also going to mean the end of U.S. Senators in the southwestern states east of California. I really doubt no mater what happens Obama will make the next election. He is already toasted his goose. He is an egomaniac if he cant see the writing. Doesn't mater what happens with this vote in the long term. Obama gets his ponzi fraud money print at 11:59pm monday, a quick rally and the downward march will continue. No country in history has ever printed its way out of a debt problem, and they all eventually stop printing and eat the 10-20 years of recovery and high interest rats or go bankrupt. Zimbabwe, Iceland? Fact is, US should either start paying its bills with real money or fact 3 decades of bankruptcy. You know, Ca-nuckles, you are the model for Johnny One Note, but you have no credibility in economics. You have no serious education in the subject, no serious professional experience in the financial services industries, no relevant governmental experience, nothing that would qualify you as a pundit for the 50 posts you put up here each day, posts that prove you really don't know anything. And there's not a shred of evidence you have more than two dimes to rub together. What brought you here? It wasn't boating. Hey piece of ****, I have been in this news group since 1990 or so. I was doing news groups even before that, Fido and all, even ran a BBS for a decade before that. uuget/uuput...uucp...I still member the stuff. I changed my moniker sometime in 2000-2004, but bet you can't figure out who I was before that eh? Hey, I am independently retired. No sucking other peoples asses lie a fleabagger around here. And not dependent on government debt like a greedy slug. Government could just close its doors and I wouldn't care. A nice byproduct of a good working career, good conservative values and investing skills. Sure beats being a loser living in fear that the check might bounce next Tuesday. -- Obama, enslaving Americans with debt-tax slavery for a spending binge.
