By watching the hawks find thermals would be my idea. If one were 'tamed', it shouldn't be too hard
to get them to take food from the hand 'on the wing'.

Huh? The hawks are trained already. The only diff is that they're
landing on the hand of someone parasailing. Stunning photography
though..
