Does anyone have any suggestions for commercial outfitters/guide
companies from whom I could either rent equipment or guides?

Can anyone speak to the availability of Wavesport Y's in New Zealand?
How much of my own XXL gear should I bring (considering that I'd have
to haul it around for as much as 6 weeks) or would I likely be able to
rent all that I need? In particular, would I be hating the world
without my drysuit? Or would my drytop be sufficient?

Oh yes, similar questions with regards to equipment availability in
Tahiti since I have the option of stopping over there for a week or
so...

Um...is there whitewater kayaking in Tahiti?
