Bull****. Three of the six people I admire most in the contemporary
world and in history are women. I just don't like ditzy conservative

The funny thing is that Palin, as an example, was a decent governor of
Alaska for her 1/2 term, albeit quite thin-skinned. She made good
progress against the big oil interests among other things, and she was
highly regarded for that effort by the voters. Then, sensing an
opportunity to boost her career, she lurched violently to the right
after McCain picked her. Now she apparently believes that this will
get her all the money she deserves for her self-promotion schemes, so
she's not backing down from the extreme.

I don't think she was qualified to be mayor of Wasilla. I've seen too
many interviews of her to think she is anything but an intellectually
lazy ditz.

Far be it from me to defend Palin, but what I wrote was actually true.

Don't argue with Krause. He'll call the cops on ya.

You got yer Salma and yer Penelope. Who's the third one. Oh right, Ms.
Maddow rounds out your trio.

I certainly like Salma Hayek and Penélope Cruz, both of whom are
gorgeous and first-rate actors, too. What's not to like? And yes, I'm
also a fan of Rachel Maddow, who may be the smartest and nicest
political pundit on television.

But, alas, none are the women in the contemporary world and in history I
admire most. Those three are Aliénor d’Aquitaine, Dorothea L. Dix, and
Hillary Clinton, all, unlike Palin and Bachmann, women of great
intellect and accomplishment.

What's funny about you Republican/Conservatives is that you don't give
the really bright elected women politicians in your party the same
admiration and respect you shower on the ditzes like Palin and Bachmann.
You like women who toe the line and have big hair.
