Good helmets for long haids?

I'm reluctantly coming to the conclusion that it may be time to get
a new helmet. My Wildwater is five seasons old, impressively dinged
up, and...well, it ain't made of none of them fancy composite
materials. I've mainly kept it because it has, by far, the best fit
for my long haid, and most helmet manufacturers seem to make helmets
for round-haid people (a trend I've also noticed in ski
helmets...Briko fits me well, Jofa fits me well, Boeri and most
others don't fit a-tall).

Before I even start examining the merits of various materials and
attachment systems, I'm trying to find a product line that won't fit
on my head like a soup bowl. Yeah, I know, you can customize the
fit, yak yak blah blah. Color me skeptical. If the fit doesn't
start out reasonably close, I question whether it can be customized
to a safe fit. So, long haid people unite: what brands should I be
looking at?

Other days you're the bug.

The grateful heads Bird works well for my long head. J3 has a model
that is similar to the bird that also fits.
