He really needed that "pitch shot", you know, when you pick it up and
pitch it out into the fairway.

Personally I would have just teed up another ball and hit it.
If I wanted to go hunting in the woods I would have brought a
shotgun,. not my golf clubs. ;-)

I wonder if someone found it for him. Most likely. The problem with teeing up another, a
provisional, is all the damn strokes. But, **** happens.

If I'd been him, I'd have aimed for the cameraman. Must have been a clear path there somewhere.

Absolutely. Blue water and green grass, very colorful and relaxing.
Have you ever played Pebble Beach in California? You can watch the

After golf you can drive back to Carmel and have a beer with Clint

Yesterday we played 'Captains Choice - 4 man team score'. The captain chose the best ball of the
four drives, and we all dropped and hit from there. Then he chose the best iron shot, etc, etc, all
the way to the last putt.

That was a blast. No pressure whatsoever. We had one guy who didn't hit it far, but he was
consistently up the middle. Then the rest of us could try to nail a good one.

What we proved was that even with no pressure we could still dick up a lot of shots. Had a blast
doing it though.

One time my brother and I played a round where we each hit two balls, and then played from the best
shot. From there we'd hit two more and so on. Luckily there was no one behind us, but we played
pretty fast anyway. I ended up with a 79. Not bad. It shows what a person is capable of, if most of
their shots were decent.
