Car-Top Locks for Kayaks?

I use a cable bike lock, around the rack.

I've only seen two products designed to help theft-prevent your kayak
when it's atop your vehicle: one you use like a regular strap but it
has a three-digit combination lock and one that lassos around the ends
of the kayak and slips under the roof rack rails to meet in the middle
where you lock it with a key lock. I don't really like the idea of a
combination lock (where's the peace of mind in that?). Has anybody
used either of these products or know of any others?

E-mail if possible.

Take a look at kayaklock.com. I tried the old style (not the new one designed
to replace tie-downs) and liked the design as long as you get it to fit your
boat correctly.

There are similiar designs for sale on ebay all the time.
