I have heard of a few going in front of freighters, but none that laughed about it. I have also seen a few disqualified from racing because they sailed in front of freighters. IMHO the rules should be enforced a bit more vigorously, including the one that says a private vessel skipper is financially liable to the shipping company. Amazing Darwin does not get more of them. Yep... that should include all the motorboats who cut in front of commercial ships, too. Fair Skies Doug King |
