The news says the average is down a penny but the stations near me are

if only for a few days because I am down to my last couple cans of gas
for the boat.

The truck showed up this morning and actually sold me the diesel for 3
cents less than yesterday's quote, 750 gallons at $3.66. That's 30
cents cheaper than the quote I got from Ballards Oil at the Ft Myers
Beach shrimp dock. They said that today's price was up 12 cents
however for delivery tomorrow. That's a lot of price volatility.

Thats funny, the price of gas up here is set to go UP 6.4 cents per
litre overnight. This, blamed on the RISE in the price of a barrel of
oil.

W'hine is special. Just ask him.

Not as special as you Harold since I'm not clever, articulate and
schooled in the Socratic method like you are. I was able to hold good
jobs throughout my entire adult life however.

So you just spend $2700 on fuel for your boat.. you must be
middle-class.

All the guys I know who claim to be middle class spend $2700 to fill up
their boat's fuel tanks.

:)

Anchor Bay East Marina, in Dundalk, in the Bal'mer Harbor area, has
pretty good prices for diesel. I paid a bit more than you did around the
first of the month.

But I sure didn't buy 750 gallons...that's three tankfuls for me. I'm
just a middle class kind of guy.

So is yours the S.S. Minnow, the original from Gillian's Island?

Take a look at ANY country, more debt is more problems. So why do we
allow our governments more debt? Selfishness, greed, denial, ignorance?

The nice thing about big tanks is that you can pick and choose where
you fill up - very thrifty and middle class. The truly wealthy, which
I am not, don't really care all that much what they pay for fuel.

I dunno. I lived in Essex, and the "wealthy" folks I knew were very much
tight wads, and penny pinchers...

We drove back from Tampa today and saw several gas stations at $3.85,

the telephone since we are getting ready to head north for the summer

something close to $4 but literally struck oil on the fourth call.
We've got a truck arriving at the house tomorrow morning for
$3.69/gal, all taxes included.

$4.09 for 89octane 10% ethanol *blend here.

Last time I bought boat gas I got 50 gallons for $3.57 or so. It
lasted me almost 2 months but we were busy and did not boat as much as
usual. If I don't see a big drop soon I may just buy a few cans and
watch the price.

I would buy right now. *Unions in Yemen have just caused some shutdowns..
* Libya taps are off, a Canadian pipeline also went down for major
unplanned maintenance and news is a shortage is coming from Saudi.

By August you might very well see north of $5 at the pumps because add
in currency devaluation (inflation).

It's going up another 1.41 cents per litre. New price = $1.41.6 per
litre.
