Old Merc parts
 

The kicker on my Tolman is a 9.8 hp Merc and from the serial number it
seems to be 1985 vintage. She will no start so I took the cover off
and began pokin round. Hmmmm, the insulation going to the kill switch
falls off allowing the wire to ground. Remove kill switch and find
wire is integral to switch. Now, I could rig up something but would
rather have real replacement but cannot find it anywhere on the web.
I find Merc parts but no kill switches. Any ideas?

Almost but not quite. My switch requires that it be pressed to stop
the motor and has no lanyard. The switch you reference would prob
work though.
