With Japan under and USA debt being sold at discount, you gasoline might hit $10 gallon before too long. Did you know California and Illinois are in quiet conversations with the fed on expanding chapter 9 to include state governments? Many investors are dumping state debt at a discount to get out. 40 some odd states may no longer be able to market debt securities and get them filled. Yep, they be BROKE. Inflation and crappy jobs is a dangerous mix, might get some DC protests this summer. So of people march on DC this summer, maybe Obama should step down. |

Depends. My judgment on the new republican congress is still out. I want to see a trillion off the top or I will not take them seriously. Start hacking away at waste like you mean it as PR bu11**** isn't going to work this time. US government has to get realistic with it's spending and bu11****. This year a trillion, next year a balanced budget or shut the idiots down until they get the message. Belgium has a huge part of its government **** down now for 8 months, and people are now saying keep it down, we don't need it. Not as painful as it sounds.
