More Obamacare Taxes?
Got this as an email. Havent' had a chance to check it out yet. Doesn't sound
good. Did you know that if you sell your house after 2012 you will pay a 3.8% sales tax on it? That's $3,800 on a $100,000 home etc. When did this happen? It's in the health care bill. Just thought you should know. SALES TAX TO GO INTO EFFECT 2013 (Part of HC Bill) REAL ESTATE SALES TAX So, this is "change you can believe in"? Under the new health care bill - did you know that all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% Sales Tax? The bulk of these new taxes don't kick in until 2013 if you sell your $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 tax. This bill is set to screw the retiring generation who often downsize their homes. Does this stuff make your November and 2012 vote more important? Oh, you weren't aware this was in the ObamaCare bill? Guess what, you aren't alone. It's in there, but because it's only levied against high income earners (200k single, 250k married), and the capital gains exeptions and requirements wrapped around it, very few will ever pay anything. You should take a moment to google this kind of stuff before you spread it around. |

Obama is about ripping off a productive middle class for dysfunctional losers. That is what socialism is. Promise losers lots for votes and pay for it by punitively taxing the productive. Part of why new investment capital isn't going to the US is because of the threat of this taxation, which is inevitable at $14.5 trillion of debt that is about to be expanded. In fact, if congress doesn't cut much deeper, and hold the line on debt expansion I am about to write off the US as recovering in less than 2 decades. The damage the debt is doing is totally ignored by liberal debt spenders. But sure is packing an inflation hit. Hey, at 10% real inflation, I am going to invest in a US company for 3% return? Hey, dream on liberal debtors, dream on. -- Socialism is a great ideal as long as someone else pays for it. And when no one is left to pay for it, they all can share nothing. |

First, get the tax in then slide the tax tables down until the middle class get the huge screw. Take the advent of income tax. Only the top 4% paid in the first year as their income was high enough. Now, almost every full time worker pays plenty. Tax creep. Get it started and in time the middle class too will eat it. The plan is, get the tax in, then slide the tax tables and in a few years -- they will deem you rich because you have a job and a home. The economy is like a pie, the more the government gets the less the people have. Government can only consume and redistribute wealth, it cannot create it. It is in effect a parasite on the economy at this point. Big overspending mismanaged government is preventing a real recovery. -- Socialism is a great ideal as long as someone else pays for it. And when no one is left to pay for it, they all can share nothing. |
