The biggest problem is if you have an internal fuel tank that is on one side of the boat. When you load it on the trailer it tends to settle to the side with the fuel take if the tank a quantity of fuel. My brother tried to drive my small boat up on the trailer,a nd when I pulled out of the ramp, the boat was lopsided on the driver side... I commended his efforts, then we repeated the process, only this time I winched it up. |

If the trailer isn't level, how would that help? |

Well, my small boat has a cast iron 140 hp GM and mercruiser I/O.... possible to do I'm sure but not easily done. |

With my boat if I have another person, you can start rocking side to side and it'll settle right where it's supposed to be. |
