Don't know what the status is with your dinghy, but I came across this and
thought you may be interested.

Cute little thing.

It would be good on a smaller boat where size and weight are more
important. There's really nothing wrong with the dinghy we have now
but I'm always looking out for something potentially better. I'd have
to admit a to a bit of envy towards the guys who are towing around 32
ft center consoles with a pair of big outboards. A small, shallow
draft jet boat would be nice also... :-)

You feel a need to burn more fuel?

Compared to our old Bertram 33 which had a pair of 454 gas engines and
weighed in at 21,000 lbs, a fast center console would look economical.

Speed costs. Speed with weight costs a lot more.

The now Defunct Wayne County Speed shop in Fairfield IL. built racing
engines for anything from modified dirt trackers, tractor pull
engines to all out blown fuel drag racers.

They used to have a sign posted above their parts counter that said:

"SPEED COSTS MONEY. HOW FAST DO YOU WANT TO GO?"

There is no boat. He's a boat-less, narcissistic, liar.
