Cold as a conservative's heart out there, but with the right

short breaks, I got it done.

Oh...the blue tape? Unlike you, I don't paint freehand. Got the trim
painted to match the color of the new door last week, but it's
been too
cold to put a complete coat on the exterior of the existing doors.
This
is just a single opening exterior door. The storm door is another
in the
Anderson 4000 series.

The white is a nice contrast to the Ipe decking, don't you agree?

Now if you'd only show us a picture of your Maryland red barn....

Besides the fat bald melonhead, what are we looking at? There is
something
odd about that picture.

Cheap ass vinyl siding, that's what.

And the rot at the bottom of the left side door/light/window and what
appears to be 3'8 inch marble window sill used for a threshold, and that
crazy crooked trim under the sill. Instead of that monstrosity, he
should have installed a double or triple insulated French door.

I thought the two sides did not look like they went together. It really
looks very lopsided. Tacky seems to fit.

Looks like one of those houses that's delivered on two flatbeds.. Up
here we call 'em "doublewides"...

From that photo, it really could be a doublewide. The doors had to
have been on clearance markdown, and I still can't figure out why anyone
would buy that door. Can you imagine going to all the trouble to pay
your "helper" to install the door, and end up with it looking like ****.
