(Jan 06) to try to feel the spirit of the season.
So.. to the few true Christians here ..I'd like to wish a Very Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year.
To those who may celebrate another holiday... I'd like to wish Happy
Holidays
To the legion of malcontents described above, who continually disrupt this

So, it's up to you to decide who is a "true" Christian here? Shows you
know about as much about the Faithful as Harry does... There is no
such thing as a "true" Christian... Your continued trolling does not
fool anybody.

Here we go...again.

Filter this thread Harry. It's only going to give you heartburn.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Don's holiday wishes are fine with me.
The snotty comment from Scotty was not.

Further, I second Don's comment about it feeling
"unseemly to be dealing with the legion of spoofers, agitators,
instigators, irritators, their apologists, enablers aiders and
abettors," so you, the Harry ID spoofer, crotchrot and a few others
probably are heading back into the bozo bin later today.

I could belay that, of course, by demonstrations of decent behavior and
good will on your part. As Stevie Nicks sings in Gypsy, "And it all
comes down to you."

Oh, and a Merry Christmas to those of you who are followers of the
teachings of Jesus.

I hate Christmas because I don't believe, therefore no one else should.

It's not surprising that you are OK with Don's remarks. Its also understandable that you would give him a pass for attempting to distance himself from the "legion".
Scotty's reaction to the bait was predictable and understandable.
As I said before, you should avoid viewing this thread since, you too, are being baited and manipulated.
I truly hope you find something to celebrate and be joyful about, this season.

You seem to be saying you know who "the faithful" are. So, who are they,
pray tell? A priest I know gave a talk last semester in which he stated
that faithful Christians lived righteous, charitable lives, and that
merely saying one was a Christian really wouldn't hack it on the Day of
Judgment. I don't know that he's right, but it does seem reasonable that
Christians should lead Christian lives.

What are you ideas on the subject?

Uh-oh. I think you just stepped into a steaming hot pile of controversy.
Good luck!

Has the priest returned from the dead to tell us what will and won't
pass muster with Saint Peter at the Pearly Gates? If Saint Peter is in
Heaven and if there are Pearly Gates?

Should Jewish people live Jewish lives? Should Buddhists live Buddhist
lives?

For you to judge someones life according to your beliefs is a bit
pretentious.

Living a "righteous, charitable life" seems within the precepts of many
religions.
