My daughter's father in law has a jon boat he made with one sheet of
AC plywood and a 2x12 and some 1x2s that is surprisingly "boat like".
He has a little kicker he puts on it and putts around the lake in
Michigan or in the bay behind Melbourne Beach

Reply:
the local yacht club where I grew up designed the original El Toro sailboat.
Cheap as only used one sheet of plywood. Richmond Yacht Club.

It is, sorta, and I guess if you want to actually build a simple boat,
it'll do. You can buy a good used canoe for a couple hundred dollars,
though. One that is more "canoe-like," as it were.

Bill, you grew up in Richmond? My wife was born there, lived there for
years before they moved to Pleasant Hill.

I could show you 50 guys who designed that boat;) I have built
"scrappies" too...

Every builder since the first plywood sheet was made has done a one
sheeter;)

But this one is special. Why? Because Harry found it.....

You sound like a girl, as it were. You just don't understand what most real men tend to take an interest in, do you?

BTW. Wasn't that acapella performance, John posted about, spectacular?
