Gonna get another 'boat' today....
It's a Marquis similar to mine. it's a neglected junker but has a lot
of neat goodies on it and a great bow railing seeing mine got destroyed. 2 year old aftermarket Alpha 1, and a 305 chevy v-8. Dont know if it runs or not, I doubt it. But the trailer is exceptional. Too cheap (and I "DO" mean cheap!) to pass up. |

Hah, this isn't a 'fleet' boat, guys. It's rotten. But the bow railing is good. the dual axle Shorline trailer is in really good shape with decent tires. And some recently new gauges. Working power trim pump, 250 cu. GM 165 hp-straight six (winterized 2 years ago) and a then new aftermarket Alpha drive and Gimple bearing .Plus a good factory bimini top frame assembly. No prop. I really don't need the trailer but after salvage/scrap of the hull, I'll probably take the trailer and make it into a flat bed to use around the farm. Both of my brother's boats have straight 6's as well as my nephews 74 chevy utility truck, so there's a good spare there, and we all run mercruiser alpha's, so the drive will be in the inventory. etc etc. besides, we're planning the big 'river cruise' next year and the spare outdrive and gimble bearing may come in handy when we check the integrity of the outdrives. when outfitting to go. OR, I might install the engine and drive works on the pontoon instead of using my spare 140. Even though I drove 120 mi. to get it, I thought it was all worth $250.00. Ah! Cheap thrills! ?;^ ) |

John H Yes, i could use a good farm trailer for bringing int he firewood,a nd just general clean up... After the hull is stripped then it will be introduced to Mr. Stihl.in which their meeting will end with great resolve. Mr. Stihl will be championed of course. ?;^ ) |
