Looks like three footers out there, which does not make for pleasant striper trolling in a deep vee boat. We're going to head south over Christmas break. We're going out tomorrow, supposed to be in the high 60's. We've got boat heat, but I really prefer being outside on the boat. If it isn't too windy, it'll be a nice day. South in the winter is always a great idea. Windy yet warm here today. *About 75. Beautiful temps but ...windy. No boating going on because the lakes and rivers are getting way low. WE...NEED...RAIN...!!! What's the source of your drinking water out there? Hopefully not those lakes and rivers. Well, it all ends up the same I suppose, but our municipal water supply comes from deep wells. No problem with that. My parents old place is via well, but it's suffering too because the ground water table is getting pretty low. How deep are those deep wells? I'm not really sure. I suppose I could ask. and that's interesting because the company that supplies a lot of residents and municipalites is called EJ Water, which is named after two counties. Effingham and Jasper, which happen to be a few miles north and east of me. Come to think of it,t hat is a lot of water they're supplying. I'm glad you brought that up, all I've ever heard was that it was 'deep well' water. I'll check out the source. |
