mariner 28 problems
 

i have a mariner 28 and im having problems selecting reverse gear....ive tried the linckage but to no avail.....anybody have any advice or ideas plz...im quite competent and capable and would prefer to do things myself than go to a exspensive marine garage.....many thanx!!!!

Is it idling too high?
