no#vwb27945b 86x can anyone help with size and year of this motor and where
i might find a prop for it

Your best bet may be to run a Google search for "online outboard
props". There are a number of propshops online, and Michigan Wheel or
another after-market manufacturer probably makes what you need.

The 27945 is a 1969 45hp, but you mention 55 also, a 1969 55hp would be a
27955. They were both made by Chrysler using West Bend designs, the props
for either one can be found at:
