Default So, while y'all were here name calling.....

I did. spent a lot of time out at the lake, camped out sunday night
and did some mroe lake romping Monday. Shut ndown at about 1:00 and
headed home for the big bash that evening. My band plaid from 5-8:830
and I got home tired and happy. Now back to the grind.

Good to hear someone had a good boating weekend Tim!

whine (too much).

I took our runabout out for a quick spin on the Caloosahatchie River
on Saturday afternoon. There was a brisk northerly blowing but the
sun was out and the chop on the river wasn't too bad. 30 minutes
later the clouds came in and had to return in a downpour but that's
south Florida in the summer time.

Yes, Saturday we took out the 18 ft'r and had a blast on the lake,
then took it home. Sunday I broke out the pontoon and headed for the
lake as well. Later joined by two brothers and their families. Later
the wife and I camped out on the float. Next day we had an enjoyable
time cruising around for a while. Cooler but excellent weather.
packed up and hauled home for the big time cookout . Very enjoyable
weekend.

If I'm understanding this correctly, you spent the night on the
pontoon? Didn't the skeeters eat you alive?

i'll tell you this was a GREAT weekend. the hurricane lightly kissed
the jersey shore, raising 4' seas and 30 kt winds...exciting to watch

Friday through Monday were warm and sunny...beautiful days at the
shore...lots of partys, lots of eating and drinking....

great way to live!
