victims in three states should have an extradition hearing in the next
few days, authorities said Thursday.

Elias Abuelazam, a 33-year-old Israeli citizen, was arrested Wednesday
night at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia.
Abuelazam was trying to board a flight to Israel when he was taken into
custody, police said.

The arrest ended an intense manhunt for the suspect police say knifed at
least 18 people in three states, leaving five dead.

The stabbings occurred in Michigan, Virginia and Ohio.
