Hanging with the crape...

Yes, I do...the pun is "misworded," and hanging *crepe* has an
altogether different meaning, but, what the heck...

Anyway, my crape myrtles look pretty decent this year, for the first
time. I bought them when they were about a foot tall off the root ball,
and now, while they aren't crape myrtle trees yet (and I probably won't
let them get that tall), I'm pleased with the color. Best of all, they
survived the annual onslaught of japanese beetles.

Not the best day for photos...it's really hazy and steamy...supposed to
be even hotter tomorrow. Yuck.

Spoofer alert! I've told everyone here that my house is a fortress
protected by security cameras.

Hey Krausie, how's that "much younger" medical doctor wife of yours
holding up under the pressure?
