Thousands of kids around here and everywhere else, I bet, are involved in school and after school soccer, and if they didn't like it, they'd be doing something else. |

I played it infrequently as a kid but never got hooked. My kids have been playing since they were 5. I didn't understand it very well until I went to see it played live at the UW. Once I saw how the game worked on the entire field, I was hooked. It's an awesome sport to watch if you're tuned into the grace, skill, athleticism and chance (process) and not focused on scoring. Scoring is the cherry on top. |
