There is a local Indian Doctor that buys these businesses and brings Indians, into the Country to lease buy them from him or some tangle of arrangements. As far back as the sixties there has been something going on. A School Friend's father owned several businesses. he found it difficult, at that time to expand further but Indians could get business loans at 4%, presumably backed by the Fed govt. I don't if it was to foster good relations or what but now there re millions, of Indian Business Owners. Sometimes they operate a business for a couple or few years then they sell or simply vanish from the scene. Perhaps they return to India. |
