I use good quality automotive water hoses. Not had any problems with
them.


thanks much...will try it...now just have to get the old stuff off...


The easiest way is to slit them with a razor knife and peel them off.
Less chance of breaking the barb.
I usually cut them back a couple l inches from the barb, slit them a
couple times and peel them toward the barb like a banana. Less stress
on the barb.
Two pairs of long nose pliers works well.


thanks for the advice...yeah that worked pretty well with the exhaust
lines...scotch brighted the fittings, too, to get all the old crap
off. real mess. i used to have a twin engine boat...working on a
single engine boat is a snap compared to that...
