The "ruler" of rec.boats? Now that's a laugh. Why would anyone
want to
rule this heap of crap?

*This* newgroup was ruined by the likes of herring, flajim, scott
ingersoll, bert robbins, larry, and all the other over-the-top right
wing assholes, most of whom don't have boats and never will.

What have you done here, mikey? Told us that your kid got up on water
skis? Big whoop.

Yawn. Ever the victim, eh donkeybreath?

I feel honored I got first and last name recognition. I must be a very
important person.

You're recognized as yet another boatless bozo.

Where has the HK wit of yesteryear gone. You have diminished to a
grouchy, lame, crotchety old fart. If you must persist in insulting all
of us, try to do it with a little flair. Do you still have it in you?

You're not worth *any* effort, however miniscule.

Do it for your fans. Think of your image, man.

It's nice that you are recognizing those who served and accomplished
something for this country. Of course, that excludes you and flajim.

Put a sock in it.

What did you accomplish for this country while you were in the navy?

I don't answer to gutless turds such as yourself.
You might ask yourself what you accomplished in your entire miserable
life besides using up a tremendous amount of oxygen.

Hehehe. Yeah. You were in uniform and you accomplished nothing for this
country, just as I suspected.

There were plenty who "served" and actually accomplished something
beneficial for this country. You and your racist buddy Herring are not
among *those* vets.

It's not as if getting into the military in your era was anything special,
right? I mean, if it were, you would have been rejected.

... and what was your excuse again? Oh yeah, dodging.

You have NO BUSINESS condemning ANYONE'S service to this country, unless you
have done it as well. No go back under your desk, it must be feeding time
soon.

As he knows nothing of our service, his 'condemnations' are as worthless as
teats on a boar hog, or maybe less so.

He should be ignored.

What's the disease of the week, herring? How about a travel trailer
post? A golf post? Been boating yet? I was out on the bay for a while on
Saturday and Sunday.

And what?

Went out Saturday afternoon, a little choppy, but warm. Headed over to
one of smallest and prettiest unoccupied islands in the bay, anchored
off the bow and attached a stern line to a tree on the island, had a
picnic lunch, and got back to the marina, all without the use of
electronics or even a compass. Not much of a task in the Bay since in
most places you can see the western and eastern shore by turning your
head, and though the island is on the other side of the bay, it's easy
to find if you head south east.

Sunday, did a little extra-light-tackle fishing, c&r a half dozen
croakers and one undersized striper.

One of the nicer aspects of the bay is that you don't have to run your
engine for hours and hours to get to someplace that's interesting,
scenic, fishy, et cetera. It takes 20 minutes to cross the bay. An hour
to an hour and a half of engine time will take you to some good
locations and back, depending on what you want to do.

On the other hand, compared to the northeast coastal area of florida,
the fishing in the bay sucks, unless you are down by the mouth adjacent
to the Atlantic. That's about 100 miles by water, but when we go, we
trailerboat.

Neither did I, or probably about 90% of those in the Armed
forces of
my era.

You're not still "living it," as herring and flajim do.

Nah. We're just rubbing your nose in it.

In what? Your time in uniform? It's not as if you accomplished
anything by it. The North Vietnamese were never planning to invade
Topeka. All you and your asswipe buddy Herring did over there was
participate in the needless slaughter of hundreds of thousands of
Asians and prop up a right-wing dictatorship in south Vietnam.

Forgetting about the Asians for a minute, I wonder how many
Americans
suffered Johnny's artillery barrages.

You are beginning to smell as bad as Harriet.

There's been no evidence presented that either your time in uniform or
herring's did this country any good or any harm. Based upon
evidence not
presented, and adding in the "I've got mine, so screw you"
attitudes of
the both of you, one might easily conclude the negative.

Virtually anyone who wanted to get into the military in your time
could.
It's not like getting that uniform was an accomplishment, eh?

Evidence? You're joking, right? Who needs to present you with anything?
We have our DD214's Do you? Of course you don't. Pansy!
If you presented your attitude, in person,to a disabled vet, he'd
probably remove his prosthesis and beat the living daylights out of
you with it.
Based on evidence that you haven't provided, we can easily conclude
that you are a flaming asshole and a sissy to boot.

Actually... there's plenty of evidence to support that. ;-) Look through
the last 15 years of posts, and it's clear that he's a sniveling coward,
that attempts to put on a macho façade.

During that time, he's attempted to be the *ruler* of rec.boats as well,
and while that hasn't worked out for him, it's absolutely destroyed the
group. His narcissistic nature will not let him give up either. Like
Albert said, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over
and over again and expecting different results." harry's been doing the
same thing for years, and the result is always the same...

He *loves* the attention though.
