new poll has the results; no surprise

http://www.salon.com/news/politics/b...12_perspective

Among whites who approve of the Tea Party, only 35 percent said they
believe blacks are hard-working, only 45 percent believe blacks are
intelligent, and just 41 percent believe that they’re trustworthy.

There are finally interesting facts coming out about the "Tea Party"
people by dint of polling.
It appears they are essentially Republicans of the "far right" variety,
and in large part a creation of the Fox News and Fox Business cable
television programs.
I'm not sure which is most disturbing - the racism, or the fact that
a "News" organization is behind it.
When a customer of mine makes a racist comment, as they occasionally do,
I make it clear by my demeanor that I want no part of that.
Imagine if I were to encourage them, as Fox News does.
I'm certain I could get away with that, and perhaps even increase sales
if I did it surreptitiously, not letting management or decent customers
overhear me.
But that would just be wrong, so I don't do it.

Peter

The real racists are usually low moral leftists.

Case in point, could you hear the howing of racism accusations of a
white person donating to an ficticious American White College Fund? Bet
that would draw out a lot of racists.

Whites should ask if Obama is racist for donating and preferring black
charities, like the UNCF as if whites don't need education.

Racism isn't a white persons disease, it is a human one often played
towards selfish ends.

The real racists are usually low moral leftists.

really? like strom thurmond? jesse helms? david duke?

Case in point, could you hear the howing of racism accusations of a
white person donating to an ficticious American White College Fund? Bet
that would draw out a lot of racists.

seems the right not only gets to be racist, but gets to declare when
racism is no longer a problem.

neat trick!

Whites should ask if Obama is racist for donating and preferring black
charities, like the UNCF as if whites don't need education.

i love it. he ignores 150 years of racist history of the US.

the history of blacks trying to get into college...

and pretends HORROR!! that racism doesnt exist!!

I was shocked to see that on NBC.

Shocking that they asked the gentleman the question or shocking that
they would broadcast it.

I think the honeymoon is finally over with Obama and the press. Obama
believes that he controls the messenger and can have any message he
wants delivered. But, the press doesn't like being treated like the
******* step-child they have let themselves become.

Shocked that they broadcast it. I believe if Brian Williams had known that
answer was coming, it would have been cut. He didn't get a chance.

The right only has one belief these days: the president of the united
states is a black man, and that cannot be.

Oh...I forgot...there's another belief: big bankers and wall street
investment firms are our friends, and we cannot take strong steps to
reign in their excesses.
