Ahhh. Spring!

My little four fruit tree orchard has come back to life...the peach and
nectarine trees are in bloom, the apple trees are bursting their buds,
and on the non-edible side, the callery pears (bradford pears) are in
full bloom, and the chinese dogwoods are about to come to life again, as
are the plum trees in the backyard.

I have 6 pineapples setting fruit and the orange blossoms smell
great.

Wow...pineapples! How terrific. We "pick" pineapples at the local
supermarkets. My wife's grandma, who lived in the Tampa-St. Pete area,
had oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruits, et cetera, growing on trees all
over her back yard. The first time I visited, I was blown away by seeing
that "orchard," and its fruit up close.

My favorite landscape trees, I think, are the callery pears. Their
shape, even in winter when they are bereft of leaves, makes them pretty,
and right now, their blossoms are just gorgeous.

My orange trees will hopefully have fruit again this year... not sure about
the lemon tree.
