To put this in proper perspective...... the entire population of the
province of Newfoundland and Labrador is about 510,000 people.
It isn't reasonable that they would have a specialist for every
illness
that
might crop up.
Even here in Nova Scotia with a population of under 950,000 we send
people
to Toronto for things such as kidney transplants.

Why did he leave Canada at all? *He could have flown to Ontario if

had better surgeons. *It would be a much shorter flight than Florida!

Medical Center in Miami and recovered in a condo he had in that area..

Maybe in a few years after our health care "system" is all screwed up
we'll be opting for Canadian treatment.
