Musta been some slam from the high winds to kill three people. I was amazed
at the steering capabilities on our ship on a recent cruise. I believe they
will turn 360 in their own length.

took a tour of the USS arleigh burke a few years ago...aegis guided
missle cruiser. from full speek of over 30 kts it can stop in its own
length...

that's some brake!

That's got to feel like an airliner shoving the brake pedals to the
floor. That's a ****load of inertia to overcome.
