Looks like fun Bill. Do these boats use jet drives? Yup. Mine is a Kodiak 3 stage. Lots use the Hamilton 212. Newer version. Mine is a licensed copy of a Hamilton 773. And diesels use mostly Hamilton 243's. With a few American Turbine pumps. Like a Berkeley pump. Boats are mostly 3/16" aluminum, with some 1/4" on the larger boats and a few of the small boats are 1/4 and 1/2" with UHMW plastic on the bottom for boating really shallow rivers. |

They have had a few killed over the last few years by lions. At least 2 of the lions have been killed by the state. Still warnings about hiking Pleasanton Ridge. Between Hayward and Pleasanton. Two urban areas. But lots of feed in the area. Deer, turkey, children, rabbits, ground squirrels. Right. They're "targetting" kids.... or, the kids just look like their regular food.
