I didn't know this about newer engine oils.

Though the oils have improved over the years, the newer oils can
actually damage your engine.

They pulled the zinc out of oils when engines went to roller
camshafts. Makes me wonder about my 140 Mercruiser (1983) an my 350 GM
(1977)
