are dreaming. They don't. "Government" health care does not pay for
such things. So you are going to ask how Williams pulls it off? Two
ways, he is premier and has government paid supplimentry care, the best
public money can buy. Which most people can't afford.

Same thing here. The congress critters have been asked several times if
they would subject themselves to the same care the regular folks get.
Across the board they all carefully crafter answers that suggest they
"could" take the same coverage if they choose, but none will accept the
mandatory acceptance they will put on the rest of us.. It's a scam,

I think Amercians should keep their choices they now have and NOT give
them up to the government either legal or financially. Tell Obama and
democrats to screw off.

But when a premier of a province has to face the knife, they get real
with the situation. Remember Williams is a leftist-liberal himself,

he manages, why the hell should anyone else?

The fact is, governmen care sucks. But if you have the money in your
jeans, you can buy a competative service. If it is taxed from you,

Doubtful, probably a bypass type operation. Now if you are saying the
Newfoundland/Canaian system does not have enough surgeons, or of US
quality... I hear you.

My wife was initially sceduled for a cyst operation, almost 7 months up
and they were uncertain if it was cancer. Fortunately someone couldn't
make theirs and she got in early in 5 weeks and it wasn't cancer.
Lucky, I feel sorry for those that wait 7 months and find out it has spead.

So why not Halifax, Montreal, Toronto etc? Halifax is on the way to the
US. Over booked? Have to wait 2 years? Maybe get lucky and someone
ahead of you dies first opening up their rationed slot?

Americans better get used to it, it is how government controls costs.

We have some of the finest Heart Surgeons in the world. The reason he
went to the US...to spend OUR tax dollars there, as not to wait in
line like the rest of us. It's all about who has the money.....
