It was so embarassing for Obama that Fox news cut the feed half way through the event. Fox News cut live feed of Obama debate half-way through; GOP aides say allowing cameras was a 'mistake' A combative President Obama sparred back and forth with Republicans at a House GOP retreat in Baltimore Friday, telling House members they had backed themselves into a corner by painting his administration as being radical. Well, I wouldn't say that calling the GOP's actions to be like a "Bolshevic revolt" would be a good way to win friends and influence people. Americans dont' like being called or Communists in general, and people that voted for the GOP, don't like their leaders being called communists either. that is unless you are a Communist. But if so, then what were the reasons behind the Bolshev revolt in Russia anyhow? I know there are many reasons for it, but from what I remember it was because people were tired of the eroded rights of the Russian public, due to the arrogant corruptness of the emperialist system held by the Nicholas II. So, I'm wondering which way the comment was meant, but I know how it can be taken. To blame the republicans are a bunch of communists that don't seem to tow the administrations line, or that Obama administration is weak and failing? I really think the Pres. could, and should have used a different choice of words. |
