Not much. The dems are rallying around him. It's OK for them to make such comments but if you sit on the other side of the aisle, heaven help you.

I find it hilarious that the right wanted to make comparisons and
claim a double-standard with Trent Lott.

They forgot about good ol' boy Trent puting his leg in his mouth on
any number of ocassions and no one being eager to rush to his aid.
